Our way of working
We work with and for our customers and we win together. We work with our SCORER collaboration framework which is designed to enhance teamwork and drive success through strategic, coordinated and organised efforts. Our results-driven approach ensures efficient and effective project execution, from a strategic kick-off to an effective product launch.
Our Scorer collaboration framework
Our SCORER collaboration framework is designed to enhance teamwork and drive success through strategic, coordinated, and organized efforts. By focusing on results-driven approaches, we ensure that every project is executed efficiently and effectively.
Strategic kick offÂ
The strategic kick-off phase within our SCORER model begins with the completion of the project brief form, detailing the R&D requirements. This is followed by concept ideation and development, where initial ideas are evaluated and aligned with category management support. Target pricing and volumes are established, and a comprehensive business case is developed to justify the project’s viability. Finally, the project proceeds to internal approval, marking the official start of the project.
Concept phase
The concept phase within our SCORER model begins with assessing the technological capability and feasibility of the project. Following this, we aim for the final internal approval, which allows us to kick off R&D development. During this phase, we align the project timeline and milestones, ensuring all key objectives are met. Finally, we secure the principal collaboration agreement to proceed and establish the collaboration contract instalment, setting the foundation for successful project execution.
Objective development
The objective development phase within our SCORER model begins with recipe development, where we ensure that all formulations meet our standards. This is followed by sample presentation and tasting, where initial feedback is gathered. Optional consumer taste testing may be conducted to refine the product further. Feedback is collected and once the customer approves the hand sample, we proceed with the launch plan review and alignment to ensure a successful market introduction.
Robust trialing
The robust trialing phase within our SCORER model begins with thorough pre-production preparation to ensure all elements are in place. This is followed by a factory trial to test the production process and make any necessary adjustments. Once the trial is successful, we seek customer production sample approval to confirm the product meets their expectations. The phase concludes with a comprehensive legal food law review and registrations to ensure compliance with all regulations.
Effective launch
The effective launch phase within our SCORER model begins with Joint Business Planning to align objectives and strategies with key stakeholders. This is followed by S&OP forecasting to ensure accurate demand planning and inventory management. We then reach an agreement on stocking, packaging, and other logistical details to streamline the launch process. The phase culminates in the first production, marking the official launch of the product. This coordinated approach ensures a smooth and successful market introduction, maximising the product’s impact and reach.
Review post-launchÂ
The review post-launch phase within our SCORER model begins with a customer satisfaction review one month after the launch to gather initial feedback and address any immediate concerns. Three months out, we conduct a joint launch distribution review to assess the effectiveness and make necessary adjustments. At the six-month mark, we perform a comprehensive joint 360 launch review to evaluate the overall success of the launch and identify areas for improvement. We ensure alignment on potential adjustments to optimise performance and meet our strategic objectives. This structured approach allows us to continuously refine our processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
