Helmond | Prinsen Berning | Senior | 39 hours (3-shifts)

As a Senior Operator, you are responsible as a specialist for your packaging line and you have a managerial role towards the production employees. You will work in a fun and diverse team.

What are you going to do?

As a Senior Operator, you have already gained the necessary experience as an Operator in the food industry and you have good technical knowledge of various production processes.

You are responsible for uninterrupted production progress on the assigned (complex) filling/packaging line, so that end products are produced that meet the set standards regarding quality, OEE and cost efficiency. You take the lead in adjusting the machine during a product change and you contribute to the continuous improvement and optimization of products and processes.

Your core tasks

• Operating and monitoring complex packaging lines, including quality controls and process optimizations.
• Changing machines during product changes and resolving mechanical and electrical faults.
• Functional management of the production team in the absence of the team leader.
• Ensuring optimal personnel planning and acting as a point of contact for operators and temporary workers.
• Monitoring the operation of machines, equipment and the quality of end products.
• Escalating major technical faults or quality deviations to the consignment service.
• Actively contributing to improvement initiatives and optimizations within the production process.

What we ask

• You have MBO work and thinking level (level 3/4)
• You have experience with the fully independent operation of complex packaging/machine lines
• You have technical knowledge regarding the conversion of lines, the resolution of malfunctioning and preventive maintenance of lines
• You have basic knowledge of the functional management of employees
• You are in possession of a NEN 3140 certificate (VOP) or are willing to obtain this
• Member of the BHV team (BHV Team Leader)
• Trained in company safety and hygiene regulations and HACCP
