Description of the assignment

Our raw materials are weighed and mixed according to a specific recipe. In order to protect our employees, we carry out exposure studies and take measures. We are looking for a student who enjoys carrying out these studies and thinking along in creating a safer working environment and setting up a substantiated substance management system. In practice, this means that you spend about half of your time interviewing and observing employees and making an inventory of various substances. The rest of the time you are busy recording/reporting and implementing your findings.

In addition to the assignment, you will have the opportunity to gain experience within a QESH team in an industrial environment. Depending on your preferences, you can get started with, for example:

• Workplace inspections
• Safety audits
• Risk inventory
• Participate in consultations
• Organize toolboxes
• Write policy
• (near) accident analyses
• Machine safety
