Are you a specialist in the field of safety, health and environment within a manufacturing industry? Do you have experience in drawing up, improving and implementing ESH policy and operationally communicating this within an organization? Then we are looking for you!

What are you going to do?

The ESH Officer is the specialist for ESH policy, influences the ESH culture and is operationally involved with processes on a daily basis. He / she is responsible for the continuous improvement of ESH processes and is a role model in the field of monitoring and improving ESH policy.

Your core tasks

• Drafting guidelines: Formulating, approving and implementing procedures and standards in the field of ESH.
• Supervising audits: Preparing and supervising both internal and external audits.
• Strengthening the ESH agenda: Making active contributions to agenda items concerning process safety and environmental care.
• Realising ESG objectives: Being involved in our efforts to improve sustainability.
• Linking departments: With your knowledge, you ensure optimal cooperation between ESH and production.
• Organising training courses: Training colleagues in the field of safety, health, the environment and first aid.

What we ask

For this position, you have at least 3 years of relevant work experience as an ESH Specialist, preferably in the food industry. In addition, you have:

• HBO work and thinking level (preferably HVK or comparable).
• A results-oriented and innovative attitude.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written
